Bench Staff:
Ringette Ontario now charges its fee at the time of registration. Since UOVRA does not charge our volunteers a registration Fee please use the PROMO CODE: UOVRAVOLUNTEERPROMO
(This Code will bill directly to the Association the Bench/Volunteer Fees instead of the Registrant)
FUNDRAISING FEE: $60
We will once again be charging a $60 Fundraising Fee per child Registered, now that we can get back to our usual fundraising activities. If you complete 2 Association fundraisers you will be refunded your $60.00 fee at the end of the Season.
(These are for Association Wide Events only. This does not include Team Fundraisers)
VOLUNTEERING
Every team requires volunteers in order to function. Scorekeepers, timekeepers, shot clock operators, 50/50 sellers, Managers, Assistant Coaches, Trainers, Head coach, on ice Volunteers, etc. It’s all hands on deck in volunteer sports. Start thinking about where your talents, experience, and expertise can best assist your team.
The executive Board has positions available, as well as special projects small and large that we need help with. Subcommittees are required for grant applications, not-for-profit applications, bylaw review/development, etc. We will be circulating a skills inventory of our members for special projects, keep an eye out for it.
DIVISIONS / AGES

FUN1 is for children, usually ages 4-7, who are new to ringette or skating, learning basic game structure, and still developing basic skills, this group plays cross-ice.

FUN2 is for children, usually ages 6-8, who are learning to lengthen their stride, ready to learn more rules of ringette, and have developed some basic skills, this group plays Mini Ringette.

FUN3 (U10) is for children who demonstrate that they have acquired the physical, cognitive, and social readiness for more challenging play, this group plays full-sized ringette.

U12 is for players, ages 10-11; this division is tiered (A/B/C) based on skills.

U14 is for players aged 12-13; this division introduces competitive programming at the AA/A levels with tiered recreational levels (B/C).

U16 is for players aged 14-15; this division continues with competitive programming at the AA/A levels with recreational levels (B/C).

U19 is for players 16-18; this division continues with competitive programming at the AA/A levels with a recreational level (B).
